Behind The Lens

Location

I took this photo, back in year 2011. It was taken at Delhi, India during a cultural festival.

Time

In the evening, around 4:30.

Lighting

Yes, as I said it was taken around evening; so the whole warmth created in this photo have the influence of golden hour too.

Equipment

Well, back then I was using a Digital Camera - Sony Cybershot DSC T-90. No other accessories were used during this shoot.

Inspiration

During the cultural fest, traditional & artistic vibes were going. The whole ambience was so full of colors, light & enthusiasm. This earthen pots are trademark culture for Indians here. So, i wanted to capture it the way which expresses its value with flavors.

Editing

Yes, I did some post-processing on this photo. Some color corrections with contrast enhancements. Later I added a slught holga effect to it.

In my camera bag

I shot it with a digicam but currently I am using Nikon D5100 with kit lens, a 50 mm prime lens & a Tamron 18-270mm PZD in my bag.

Feedback

Just want to tell that, always try to capture the feel of a place or event in minimum photos. Nobody wants to see your whole album to get the idea of the place or event. As of this photo, I intended to do the same.
