My husband has been fighting stage 4 colon cancer for more than 2 years. The road has been long and difficult. I have been at his bedside for almost 3 weeks with his most recent hospitalization. Each day seems to bring more complications, but the doctors say that if he wants to continue the fight, they'll keep fighting for him.
If we could just get to the other side of these hospital windows and go back home....
instead of the alternative.
