What a beauty, but f*ing cold if you ask me. Not used to that kind of weather in The Netherlands or Belgium...

Honestly, this is one of my favorite photos I've taken, partially because I went through hell to get it. It was literally below freezing, it was EXTREMELY windy, and the windchill had the "feels like" temp at like -34 celcius. Also I had to park at the end of the boardwalk, climb down the stairs which hadn't been shoveled so they were under a foot of snow. And then the boardwalk hadn't been plowed or shoveled, and the waves had been so high they've been crashing over the boardwalk, so not only was there about a foot of snow on the boardwalk, there was half a foot of solid ice. (The whole railing was just a wall of ice, I got some cool pics of that as well). It felt so worth it when I got the photo though :D It really feels like I earned it.
