Photographed with a Takahashi Quadruplet Refractor @ F-5.3 85mm-455mm and a cooled astronomical camera built around the the Sony IMX455 Full-Frame Sensor (Same sensor in the A7R4 Sony Mirrorless)

A Mono and Color version of the ASI6200 camera was used.

6hrs Hydrogen Alpha 7nm Filter
5hrs OSC 6200 for the RGB

Bodes Galaxy and the Cigar Galaxy are tidally locked to each other engaged and in a cosmic dance. About 600,000 years ago Bode's Galaxy interacted with the Cigar Galaxy causing a very prominent starburst as shock waves were sent up the arms of M82 to its core.
