Behind The Lens

Location

I took this photo in Langdon Beach, Ft Pickens, Florida, USA.

Time

I took this in the early evening at about 6PM.

Lighting

I take advantage of some backlighting against a light background to make these shots possible. Cloudy evening.

Equipment

This was taken with my Motorola Moto H Stylus 5G.

Inspiration

Just happened to capture the perfect moment with a little action, just before my uncle was leaving his pole.

Editing

I used Google Photos and started layering filters, experimenting. Then I played with the contrast, shadows, and highlights, and color to maximize contrast.

In my camera bag

I usually just use my phone right now. Maybe I will be able to invest in equipment in the future.

Feedback

Natural lighting is the best raw canvas to work with, and brings the best out of artistic edits later.
