Well what a roller coaster of a day. First I went out too early and thought I had missed all the storm action. And just as I pulled up at home the range exploded with storms and I raced to Boral Quarry just on the outskirts of Peak Crossing Qld.
It was a very hit and miss photography night. But just as I was about to give up I noticed a flash to the South towards Boonah and Beaudesert area's. I set up my frame and 8 images in this gorgeous lightning darter thru the clouds illuminating the entire sky and even the stars made an appearance.
I guess it shows that patience is rewarded. And after 200 plus images, this was my reward.
