My wife and I visited Hawaii (Big Island) during a time when Kilauea was actively erupting. It was amazing to see the crater in Volcano National Park in southern Hawaii, then later that evening we rented bikes (the road was covered with lava from the eruption) and rode them a couple of miles so that we could see the lava meeting the ocean, creating new land. This shot is from that evening.
