Behind The Lens

Location

I took it near my grandma's house in Radzy? Podlaski, Poland. It's a really small town with lots of fields and meadows. I love spending time there.

Time

It was not the best time of day to take photos :), something like 1-2 p.m., fall of 2022

Lighting

I wanted it to be cloudy, because of the poem that inspired me.

Equipment

The only equipment I used was Canon EOS 6D with somewhat unique lens Canon 28-90 f/4. But I'm still the best with analog cameras, so I'm transitioning to digital :)

Inspiration

It was a polish poem - it's about two very different people arguing about petty stuff and suddenly they look ahead and the see that the'll share a wonderful life together, despite their differences. The people try to look further, but it's all clouds.

Editing

Well, I desaturated colors a little bit, and I don't remeber what elsle, but not much.

In my camera bag

Fujica STX-1N, Zenit-E, Smena 8, and a lot of divers analog cameras (which are heavy...)

Feedback

For me, It's all about the models. I'm not a proffesional photographer, so I shoot my friends or friends of my friends. when you have a good relationship with your model, you can capture the best expressions and the models feel much more comfortable in front of camera.
