Maud

This is one of my early works where I had to focus on the water particles in general and the transition from face to water. The complexity was to focus on those two elements without losing the value of the photo I had in mind. So I decided to use a lot of dynamic sphere like the exlpoding water particles and the 'sourir' expression on the girl her face. This also compensated the small aumount of depth in the photo, wich wasn't that necessary because the focus in this composition.

The story behind the photo is rather a personal feeling I have.
I got problems with remembering peoples faces, everytime I want to think about someone or someone asks me how he/she looks like, the only thing that comes in mind with me is a white/pale head without eyes, nose or mouth, not even hair or ears.

But this girl, named Maud, is different, she gives me the most fantastic feeling ever, she is amazing, and she is also the only face I can remember for a long time. But I'm affraid that I will lose that face in my head. Her face is also vanishing more and more often, and then I got to think really hard in the hope that I shall remember her again.

I learned a lot of Photoshop tools and tricks I use daily now, and it is still one of my favorite photos because of my story behind it.
