Took a trip to Lindisfarne this weekend hoping to shoot the milky way, we arrived at 9:30pm and stayed until 4am (due to tide times) I loved every minute of it!

I have a feeling the smudge in the centre of the frame is the Andromeda galaxy, could anyone verify this? We also saw the northern lights, which is visible on the horizon on the right hand side of the image.
