About The Contest
Share your best images featuring the water from in and around the City of Davenport: ponds, lakes, rivers, creeks, wetlands, stormwater runoff, precipitation, or conservation practices. Submit your images by February 12, 2015!
The City of Davenport is hosting a photo contest all about water. Why water you ask?
The City of Davenport enjoys abundant water resources, from the Mississippi River to our nearly 150 miles of creeks and streams. We enjoy recreation, fishing and the wildlife these rich habitats provide. Not to mention the beauty of our water resources, and their role in sustaining life. While we enjoy convenient access to our water resources we all too often take them for granted.
This contest was created to increase awareness of the local water resources that the City of Davenport enjoys and to encourage citizens to get out and experience them as much as possible.
