Grand Jury Winner

"This is a very dramatic capture that tells a story!  The scale gives a sense of how powerful the water is, and the cliffs on both sides provide context. I love that there’s an exciting story (with a happy ending) behind the image.  One critique would be to use a slower shutter speed to blur the helicopter blades and provide a sense of motion." - Jessica Ambats

Runner Up

"Great capture, perfect timing! I love the composition with the jet in the lower right.  Congrats on achieving this image at your first airshow." - Jessica Ambats
