Depth Of Field Photo Contest Winners
Thank you to all the photographers that shared their photos in this Limited Depth Of Field Photo Contest. One of the core concepts behind photography, DOF or depth of field stands for as the distance between the nearest and farthest objects in a scene that appear acceptably sharp in an image. The section in the photo within the depth of field looks sharp, and the front and back sections of the subject appear blurry. A large DOF allows to select an entire image to look sharp while a small DOF may be more effective, emphasizing the subject while de-emphasizing the foreground and background.
