I took this photo on an amazing beach on New Zealand's south island. The beach is near the famous Cathedral Caves and has this amazingly shallow incline. This means that as the tide goes in or out, you're left with large patches of beautiful reflective sand. I was super lucky to get dramatic clouds when I visited as they really add to the reflections.

If ever you want to visit Cathedral Caves and this beach, be sure to check the tide times. It's only open for a few hours either side of high tide so you need to plan ahead. It's also best to get there just as the tide is going out so you have more time to explore before it gets busy.
