A few years ago, I started using my birthday as an excuse to take several days off from work and do some fall camping and photography. One evening we went to a spot in Shenandoah National Park that I like to shoot sunset from, but it wasn't looking very promising with all the cloud cover. However, just before the sun was due to set, a crack in the clouds opened up and I was able to capture this beautiful scene! Shot in October, 2022.
