"What better way to spend time then taking a journey through Viewbug.com? I can't think of one. Where else can you sell your work, win cash and prizes, join communities and charities and share knowledge with photographers from all over the world. I could and do spend hours exploring the world through my friends on viewbug.
Photography is such a wonderful form of expression. My name is Amelia but most everyone calls me Amy. I am a Medical Laboratory Tech by profession, but have an insatiable passion for photography. I have always loved taking snap shots and looking in wonder at the beautiful art of others until the day I took a couple of picture of the Hostas in my front yard with my Kodak easy share 650 and captured a bumble bee in flight. I was hooked. Now I have graduated to a Nikon D90 with an assortment of lenses and filters that I pack up and take with me everywhere I go. I have had one photo published in HG Backyard Gardeners and have participated in the Photos for Health campaign for Clarian Hospitals in Indiana where I have a several images displayed. Paint Shop Pro is my program of choice for processing when needed and for those times I want to play. Manipulating images is a whole other art form that I love.
