I love photography because it lets me capture the beautiful moments of my childrens' lives. I am a mother to six children, including twins and triplets. Two and a half years ago I received my first SLR camera, and that's when I fell in love with photography. I love creating beautiful images of children.

With my camera I can freeze wonderful moments in time. The incredible expressions, the wonderful smiles, the beautiful eyes.

I find inspiration when my children play. Most of my images aren't planned. Kids love dressing up, so we play dress ups a lot.

One of the photos I am most proud of is actually the one that won this contest. It has perfect mood and I love my daughters expression:

I also love the photo below. It's a photo of my son. I love the drama in his face, and the lighting and textures:

I love shooting in natural light. You get beautiful clarity in the eyes. When photographing children, get in close, don't be scared to experiment with different props, and let the subject guide you. Also, just be ready with your camera all the time. The best shots always come at the most unexpected times.
