What equipment did you use?

I used my Sony A7III camera with the Sony 70-300G lens. I really enjoy this setup because it offers a long focal length, making it great for capturing distant subjects, while still being lightweight enough for walking and hiking.

What inspired you to take this photo?

The waves were quite significant that day, and the entrance was tricky with lots of whitewater, along with numerous carrion hunters at the beach. I thought of capturing a picture of them searching for surfers entering the dangerous ocean.

Did you do any post-processing? If yes, tell us about it!

I made some very basic adjustments, nothing particularly special.

What equipment do you normally have in your bag?

I always make sure to have a selection of 3-4 lenses covering the 18-300mm range with me. However, my affection for the 150-600mm Sigma telephoto lens often makes it difficult to decide whether to leave it behind
