I took this photo while visiting my daughter at Michigan State University. The Sheep Teaching and Research Farm is one of my favorite places to take pictures, so I try to visit often. This beautiful sheep was scared of me at first. When her curiosity got the best of her and she stood up to look at me, I was ready for her and got this shot. The colors and lighting were just right and the Ewe is very photogenic.Time
This picture was taken around midday.Lighting
Lighting is sometimes poor in old barns, but it was a very sunny day and the light reflected nicely on the straw and barn walls.Equipment
I was using my canon EOS and Tamron 18-400 zoom lens.Inspiration
I love sheep! They are funny and interesting to watch. When they warm up to you, they become very affectionate, like dogs or cats.Editing
I did a little post processing to enhance the colors. In my camera bag
My Canon and my telephoto lens. .Feedback
I always try to be ready to start shooting if I know animals will be nearby, and I always try to improve on my animal photography whether it is with wild or domestic animals.
