Behind The Lens

Location

This photo was taken in Powhatan County, Virginia.

Time

This photo was taken in the afternoon just as the sun was starting it's decent for the day.

Lighting

The natural light from the sun was shining bright through some very thin clouds.

Equipment

No special equipment or effects were used just my camera.

Inspiration

Ever since my Dad was diagnosed with Leukemia I have been fascinated with Dandelions and I always try to get photos of them. This time I thought I would try a silhouette and to my surprise as I held the Dandelion in front of the sun I saw the light made tiny rainbows on each pappus.

Editing

No post-processing was done.

Normally it's just me and my camera and the great outdoors!
