I have never had any hummingbirds remain in my yard after September. This little female is still here and is continuing to enjoy feeding on the feeders and my salvia flowers. This is her favorite spot to perch. It was raining pretty hard this day last weekend and she kept landing there and sticking her tongue out. I believe she was catching gnats. It is going down near freezing tonight so maybe she will finally migrate south.
