This view kind of surprised me. I was making my rounds around the prayer wheels (behind me) and taking photos of pilgrims. When I turned around, I was met with this stunning view of the Padmasanbhava statue with these incredible clouds. It almost felt like I had stepped into a movie scene or a place time had forgotten. I made sure to go back up the hill to try and get a few shots up close with the clouds. They had shifted some and the angle wasn’t quite as dramatic, but it was still worth the hike. And that, as they say, is called a tease for the next few shots!
