Location
The Grove Wedding Venue in Las Vegas, NV.Time
About 1 o’clock in the afternoon.Lighting
I used natural lighting. It was a sunny day out the the venue had plenty of tall trees to help with shade.Equipment
Shot with a Canon 70d with Canon EF 28-135mm lens. Shot handheld.Inspiration
I wanted a closeup picture that displayed an intimate moment.Editing
This was not a planned shot. I wanted a close up by the pose itself was not staged. I waited for them to get close and then I just shot a burst of about 10 pictures. This one captures the moment. In my camera bag
Canon 70d body with a Canon EF 28-135mm lens and a Canon EF-S 18-55mm are always in bag. I also have a Canon EF 50mm that occasionally gets used.Feedback
Take advantage of your camera’s burst mode. Even though you have an idea for a specific shot, that moment just before or just after your planned shot could ultimately end up being the better shot than what you envisioned in your mind.
