This photo is taken outside my home.Time
The photo was taken on a sunny Sunday morning. The sun was beginning to illuminate the flowers, but not quite setting it on fire, so to speak.Lighting
I love contrast in my photos, so in order to avoid full lighting I decided to make full use of the outside (lack of) natural lighting.Equipment
My partner in crime was my Nikon d7200 plus Nikon 18-300 lens which has a lovely zoom.Inspiration
I wanted to capture the beauty of the blooming flowers outside my home, but also create a sort of mysterious feeling. Although taken in Summer, the shot also has a hint of darkness.Editing
Even though the shot was nearly perfect (in my eyes) I did a small amount if cropping. This to put the flower in the centre of the shot, and thus enhance its presence.In my camera bag
It depends on the subject of the photos, but my favorite lenses are the Nikon 18-300 and the Nikon 50mm 1.4. Since I also shoot (music) festivals, I don't carry a tripod or take a lot of equipment with me.Feedback
