Location
The photo was taken at a stadium near the city. This was one of the first shots taken from the air.Time
It was close enough by noon. My colleagues and I were processing the latest report in our photo studio. There was excellent sunny weather outside, and I did not want to sit at the computer at all. Therefore, we decided to move out of town!Lighting
Normal midday sunlight. Initially, I wanted to make a frame with the shadow of a cyclist, but at this time of day the shadows were not long enough, so another solution arose.Equipment
Everything was filmed on a quadcopter DJI Phantom IV ProInspiration
Hard to tell. The goal was to make an unusual shot of a cyclist from the air. I went to this stadium because of its geometry and the color of the stands. That was what I needed. Already in the process of shooting, a decision arose to remove the cyclist while lying down, since the original idea with shadows failed due to the wrong timing of the shooting.Editing
There was no special post-processing, I tidied up the spots on the pavement a little, which distracted my eyes, the rest remained unchanged. In my camera bag
If we talk about shooting from the air, then this is a quadrocopter, three or four spare batteries for it, an iPad in order to clearly see the picture, a set of spare blades and a car charger.Feedback
The tip is very simple. Try to watch a lot. Be mindful of your surroundings. If you notice an interesting location, but now there is no idea how to use it, take a couple of photos on the phone and put the geotag, it may take several months before you need it!
