Location
Weirdly, this was shot at an elementary school playground where I used to workout at after hours and on weekends due to all of the bars they had. Worked perfect for calisthenics/body weight training.Time
This was taken around 10:30a.mLighting
No lighting. It was an overcast day so I knew it’d be perfect for a black and white shot.Equipment
At the time it was my trusty Canon 6D with the canon 24-105mmInspiration
Honestly I don't think. My mind works off of triggers. When we got there, it was my second time there at this park, something just "clicked" in my head and I blurted out "do you think you can hold a handstand longer than 30 seconds?" And my friend replied yes and was very confused on what I saw. I already saw how this photo would look after it was processed.Editing
I did everything in camera raw, from black and white to lens correction (because I shot at 24 the poles where bending inward) and then after everything was stretched out i had to paint the top corner white. In my camera bag
As a video game nerd, I like to think of it as my arsenal and i can only carry a primary lens and a secondary lens and any little extra tools. I don't like to get overwhelmed with other gear.Feedback
My dad used to tell me "to be different you must find different angles to shoot from. Stand on a chair or lay down or.crouch. Don't just stand straight with the camera, anyone can do that.
