Location
This was taken along the embarcadero in San Francisco. This is something you would not want to do now because of the crime. You could easily loose your equipment.Time
Taken around midnight.Lighting
I changed the the camera to 5000 kelvin to get a more blue tint. Now I would just do that in Lightroom. I exposed this picture for 91 seconds.Equipment
I used a 5D mk3 and a 24-105 lens.Inspiration
I was with a workshop and one of the stops was along the waterfront and I really liked the posts in the water leading to the bridge and was lucky enough to have no fog or choppy water.Editing
I did some in Lightroom but not a lot.In my camera bag
Nothing out of the ordinary, extra batteries, couple of nd filters, telephoto lens, memory cards, gaffers tape, multi-tool, remote shutter release.Feedback
Just be patient for the right conditions. Also in San Francisco be aware you could be robbed in daylight on a busy street and at night I would not try this photo again.
