Congrats on all your honors. This is a fantastic shot from the composition to the leading lines...and of course, you...back stepping into air... or is it the other way around.. Keeps the viewer engaged with the full shot!

Location
I took this photo while looking for places to photography on a cloudy day in Stockholm. I saw the jetty and decided to stop by and get creative.Time
This was taken in the morning.Lighting
Only natural light in this image.Equipment
I used a Nikon D3200 with a Sigma 10-20mm lens. No flash, just a tripod.Inspiration
I just decided to make the best of the situation. It was very cloudy, and I was just out looking for places to come back to at a later stage. I saw this jetty and thought it looked interesting.Editing
I used Lightroom and Photoshop to process this image. In my camera bag
I usually have a light tripod, my Nikon D3200, a Sigma 10-20mm and a Nikon 35mm. I also carry around a ND filter for my Sigma.Feedback
Use what you have and make the best of the situation. Also, don't be lazy and not take the shot.
