Location
I love to visit our citypark in my hometown nürnberg, there is a beautiful fountain and lakes for dugs and geese, it is a park with many different places, with little bridges and many trees and flowerbeds, benches and a nice restaurant.Time
it was in the late afternoon, my favourite time to take photos.Lighting
it was a sunny day with some clouds-what I prefer because the light/shadow relation is better when it is cloudy.Equipment
I always take my compact camera ricoh CX5 with me,it is small not heavy and fits perfectly in my bag. it has a wonderful macro function-so there was nothing else necessary to take this picture but a little patience and a calm hand.Inspiration
I love to take macro photos from nature- I learned to appreciate these little wonderful perfect beings like insects or flowers just through my camera. before I was never aware of this beautiful creatures, the view through my camera showed me the tiny hairy legs of bees and other insects and how they use them to climb or clean or eat...it is a new absolutely stunning world I was shown by my ricoh!!Editing
I do a little postprocessing like sharpening and making the colors more vivid and a bit more stronger. In my camera bag
I carry only my ricoh CX 5 in my bag.Feedback
take a sunny day with clouds-then for me the light is perfect-not too bright and no shadows-and if you find beautiful flowers try to find bees- but look for bees which are not too busy, means some bees are searching slowly then you can focus better on them.if they are in a hurry then it is hard to shoot them in a sharp way.
