Behind The Lens

Location

The photo was taken in Horton's planes - highlands in Sri Lanka

Time

This was early morning when the mist was low and sun rays created a very warm feeling.

Lighting

Not much.. natural light will do the magic :)

Equipment

At that time I only had my canon 6d with me and two lenses. This shot was taken with 16-35 which I take to all my trips.

Inspiration

Everything was there and I didn't have any idea prepared. The only important thing was to walk around during the best time when the light is soft. Nature will then do the job for you :)

Editing

I always do some postpro in photoshop but not much. Usually framing, structure, color balance etc..

In my camera bag

Depends on the situation.. for landscape is usually 5d mk4, 16-35, 24-105, 70-200. For wildlife 100-400. And ND + graduated filters. Polarizer not very often.

Feedback

There is nothing special about this shot.. Just travel, enjoy nature and don't be lazy to go infiled very early :)
