Behind The Lens

Location

This was taken outside my house in the neighborhood right after a big thunderstorm.

Time

I believe it was late afternoon.

Lighting

Only afternoon light coming from the southwest.

Equipment

Canon Rebel Eos T5; Canon 28-135 mm; Aperture 56/10; ISO 100; Shutter 1/125; Focal length 53/1; no tripod, handheld; no flash

Inspiration

A storm was coming through and I could see all the clouds formations bubbling. I went out to shoot as many different images as I could.

Editing

I believe at that time (about two years ago) I was using Photoshop Elements, either 12 or 14. I did add some contrast and color to the image.

In my camera bag

Canon Rebel EOS T5; 28-135 mm lens, 18-55 mm lens; 55-250 mm lens; tripod; UV Haze filter on lenses.

Feedback

I am a self taught photographer and always try to be on the lookout for unusual cloud formations and interesting shapes and forms in the landscape. Shoot as many photos as you can. I shoot both RAW and the largest jpeg allowed in my camera; that way I have the ability to edit in Elements, Lightroom, or other photo editing software to get the final image I want.
