Just before you enter Yosemite National Park, you travel through a half-mile tunnel bored through solid rock. As soon as you emerge from the tunnel, you are struck with this expansive majestic view of Yosemite Valley. To in left is El Capitan. The towering granite formation on the right is Cathedral Rocks, and below it is Bridalveil Fall. It is one of the most magnificent views I've ever seen! I was fortunate to have some interesting cloud cover from an approaching storm this day. I snapped this image just before the storm moved in and dumped several inches of rain. I took the liberty of editing the sky to be a little more dramatic.

PHOTO TIP - Try something new, get out of your comfort zone, and share the experience with a good friend. Do this by going on epic adventures to some of the most beautiful places on earth, by putting on my waders and walking out into the middle of a raging river, by hiking for hours upon hours to get to a particular spot to shoot, by having an adventurous spirit and a passion for exploration and discovery. You never know what you are capable of until you push your limits.

Such an epic, stunning shot! I wish my wheelchair and health would allow me to get to spots like this! One of my friends was recently in Wyoming, not exactly for sure where, and she sent me this shot she took on her phone and I wanted to be there! I love seeing and living amongst natural wonders through your work on here and on Instagram! Thanks for sharing!
