I was about 100 feet up in the air when I took this shot. Well, ok, I wasn't. But the camera was. I used a drone. This was taken over the Second street bridge right in front of City Hall in Austin Texas.Time
It was around 10 pm on a Friday when I was flying about.Lighting
I was trying get the streaming lights from the cars to form a heart shape so I could call the image "Deep in the heart of Texas!" I confess to using PS to assist in this goal. ;]Equipment
I used the DJI Phantom3 to get up and get down.Inspiration
I love light trails, so I'm always on the hunt for a good bendy street to capture. When I saw the island at this intersection I knew it was my huckleberry.Editing
Oh yes! The image is mirrored and I processed the heck out of it mostly in LightRoom. In my camera bag
I love love love the Sony Alpha series of cameras and I carry the A7rii and the A7s around with tons o' lenses and a carbon fiber Manfrotto tripod.Feedback
Dont be agraid to process your images in all kinds of ways! Push and slide everything. Sometimes you will find your own little fun look and you'll have it forever.
