Wow, this is an amazing picture, so futuristic and expressive. The clear lines and minimalistic but bright colors make this perfect for me! Congrats!!

Nice one Mate. Love the shot at night. I've got same shot in daylight. No where near as good as this.

Location
This photo was taken underneath the 2 gateway bridges in Brisbane.Time
It was taken at night, I think it would have been around 8-9pmLighting
I just used what light came off the bridges and water for my image. I had an 8 second exposure time to let in a bit more light though and it also gave me the light trails from a plane going overhead.Equipment
This image was shot on my Nikon D7100 with an f4 f-stop and ISO of 100, the lens I used was my 18-200mm, I use a manfrotto tripod and for this image there was no flash.Inspiration
I was drawn to this location due to how the two bridges look going off into the distance. I thought it would be something different compared to my usual automotive images I take. I loved that I got light trails also due to the closeness of the Brisbane international airport.Editing
There wasn't too much post-processing with this image, I just sharpened up the image a bit and lightened the few shadows that were there and that was it.In my camera bag
Usually I have my Nikon D7100, 35mm lens, 50mm lens, 10-20mm lens and Nikon flash. Sometimes I also have a secondary camera which is a Nikon coolpix P610 as it does some great close up images.Feedback
Just trial and error with placement of the camera, I have viewed many images of these 2 bridges and all of them are amazing simply due to the different placement of where they took the image. I played around with different exposure times also until I found what I thought was the perfect exposure for this location. I also tried taking images at different heights but this height was my favorite out of the images I took that night.
