Behind The Lens

Location

I am a self taught photographer, learning along the way.

Time

I took this one afternoon at the Ace Cafe reunion in Brighton.

Lighting

It was fairly sunny so the lighting was good.

Equipment

I used the Sony A7R 24-70mm lens.

Inspiration

As soon as I saw the reflection I had to take a shot, luckily it wasn't too crowded at that point.

Editing

I changed it to black & white using lightroom, as it seemed more effective than colour.

In my camera bag

I don't usually carry a bag of equipment, just my camera. I like to travel light so I can have my camera with me as often as possible. There's often things to see in Brighton and I don't want to miss trying to capture them.

Feedback

I don't have too much advice as I'm not an expert, but I like to try to photo things from my perspective and experiment on what works and what doesn't. And for me, it's about trying to capture a moment of my life and what I see, and show it through a photo.
