Sometimes, all I want is to disconnect and immerse myself in nature. No heavy camera gear, no searching for the perfect shot, just strolling around and clearing my mind. But just in case something extraordinary appears on one of those days, I always carry a lightweight Nikon Z6 camera in my backpack, my 'always-there' companion. And it was this very Nikon Z6 that came into play on that winter day when this picture was taken. It captures a small waterfall adorned with ice formations, sculpted by the freezing temperatures and water splashes. Such scenes are rare in this area, where temperatures seldom plummet so low. The next day, these ice formations had already vanished, a fleeting beauty of winter.
