Behind The Lens

Location

I went to Skien, Norway on business , and when I crossed this bridge I saw that picturesque bend in the river. I am self taught photgrapher. Norway has so many wonders. so I always have a reason to take out my camera. if I have a camera and if I can take photos, I'm happy. I want to become a famous photographer through photography so that I can help protect the planet and the environment with my pictures and words.

Time

This picture was taken a year ago in autumn, around 5 o'clock in the afternoon. Here in Norway , towards late autumn, the sun starts to set quite quickly, so you have to hurry every minute with the photography. It would have been nice if there was fog, because it would have looked good in the picture. but you shouldn't be insatiable

Lighting

I'm basically a nature photographer, so I don't need extra light. I work with the lights of nature. Quite often it does a pretty good job with the lights.We nature photographers are always fighting with kilometers and time to meet the right lights and atmosphere and of course it also requires a lot of luck. :)

Equipment

I am not a rich photographer. I only have a Tamron 18-400 mm lens and a Nikon d5100 frame. I really want a slightly better device, but unfortunately I'm not rich enough to afford it.

Inspiration

I am a simple soul but big environmentalist . I don' t care about people .just the nature. I try to learn nad teach ,preserve , and defend the traditional values and the traditional way of life. My mission is to protect the Northern Nature . That this is the most important in the whole planet Earth. Man should not destroy the earth but live in symbiosis with it. I photograph so that the humans recognize that one should not ruin the environment. To see the beautiful and want to see it in the same form many times.

Editing

I just use Luminar Ai and adobe Photoshop . It was just a general edit.setting contrast, exposure colors to natural and minimal cropping.

In my camera bag

I only have an extra sd card, my battery lasts a whole day, but if I go on a long trip, I only have the battery charger in my bag.and, of course, enough liquid and food for the photographer. :) and dark chocolate ... because photography is not photography without dark chocolate. :)
