Finally rediscovered these tiny Cryptic Teardrop Crabs hiding among some Fire Coral. There seemed to be a crab garden party occurring during our night dive - shown is two back to back. A typical decorator crab that decorates its carapace and arms with tiny bits of sponge to blend into its surroundings. Looking a little like a pillsbury doughboy they are so very cute. The purple arms are used to feed itself. Their size is a minuscule maximum of 3-4-inch. Difficult to find? I've been searching for three weeks and they only appear at night to feed.
