Bavaria is full of beautiful locations, both big and small. This one instantly grabs your attention while driving past it. The beautiful church with a winding road and a mountain range in the background to complete the image. Luckily the core of the Milky Way was visible that night and aligned perfectly with the top of the mountain. We did have to wait hours and hours in the cold for it to happen, but it was so worth it!

This image is built from three different exposures. One that had a blue hour lighting on the mountain range in the background and the church. One later that evening to capture the car trails and interior lighting of the church. And the last to capture the starry night.
