This is Crimp. She is a well known bear who returns to the shores of Lake Clark every year with her cubs. The reason everyoncalls her Crimp is because her left ear is crimped a bit from an old injury. Crimp is the best mother and is very adept at fishing to feed her cubs and fending off the many bears who are more adept at stealing than fishing. This giant Silver Salmon is a big breakfast prize. She delivers it to her cubs and then goes back out to catch her own brakfast.
