Mesmerizing! Amazing how the sunset shows the warmth of the people walking together, while the cloudy cold sky above making an emotional contrast in the picture.. Love it🥰😍

Location
I took this photo in my city, Oradea, Romania. I have been living here for 30+ years now and I can say the city was never as beautiful as it is now. That is why it is becoming more and more a popular tourist destination for people visiting Europe and Romania in particular. From the colorful and breathtaking architecture to the Crisul Repede river, everything catches the eye and the soul.Time
It was around 8.30 in the evening when I decided to go for a walk around the city center. There are many promenades in that area, where people go out to relax, admire and have coffee and cookies at one of the many coffee-shops.Lighting
As time passed by, the sun was slowly setting near the superb City Hall building, right above the river. The harsh light became softer and softer and everything started to get a golden glow. It was reflecting from the river, it was reflecting from the pavement, it was gorgeous to watch, especially for someone with a passion in photography.Equipment
Back then I still had my old and trusty Nikon 3300 with me. Cropped sensor, 24 megapixel "beginner camera" but paired with the Nikkor 35 mm 1.8 and a lot of passion it produced wonderful photos. Soon after that, I sold that camera and switched to full-frame. It was a good camera though, most of my photography was captured with the 3300.Inspiration
Sometimes, the most ordinary things can be extraordinary if watched, observed, at the right moment. That is the basic principle of my photography ever since I started the sharing journey. Wherever we are we can witness extraordinary things if we look careful enough. And that evening, the light, the mood, even the way the people dressed and walked, it all was special, it all was extraordinary. And I needed to take that with me and share it.Editing
I only edit my photos in Lightroom, I never alter what was originally in them. I play a little bit with the colors and shadows until the photo looks as I have seen it and makes me feel again how I did when I was there. Therefore, I rarely use the same edit for more photos but the workflow is basically the same. Bring down the highlights, open up the shadows, a bit of color magic to fit my memory and that's it. Never more than a few minutes. In my camera bag
I don't carry a lot of gear with me. I have a small no-name backpack in which I have my camera, a zoom lens and a prime one (either 50 or 35, depends on where I am going and what I will shoot), 2 batteries and charger, a lens cleaning kit and my very small dji mini 2 drone and remote. That's enough for any situation. Rarely, I attach my tripod if I think I would need it.Feedback
Always look around careful. There are extraordinary things happening and worth capturing all the time. Shoot more and share. That's photography.
