I took this photo from the Tour Pet-Berland that is the Bell Tower for the Cathedral and that is separated from the it because it was built strong enough to support the bells. I went up 233 steps to take this other photos it was worth doing it.

I also took nearly identical photos from this same perspective and have them in my gallery! It is really fun to see your beautiful shot of the cathedral and to realize that we may have shared some of the same enjoyment and amazement at the incredible beauty of this scene, the architecture...the impression that Bordeaux left for me was one of age and history of this part of the world that has been around for such a long time. I also recall climbing the narrow, circular stone steps and the giant bells at the top. Thanks for sharing this common experience. Wonderful shot!
