I do stick-built model ship building also, and I would love to meet & chat with this guy! Great composition to get both the craftsman and the model so perfectly positioned...and the lighting is perfect to highlight both the ship and the builder.

When I heard the learned astronomer talked about the boats the seasons and the skies
It led the builder to view his craft work and reason had he built it too high
Out either with the drawn thought of labour or of thosr drawn on charts
To finish out the master guilds masterstroke he was led to believe lay in its art
Standing tall to view the ship bow to stern helm to ship
He gazed down from above head to foot landing straight upon certainty at his hip
All wood was made to float but not all wood was made to last as he took a second look upon his work to wonder possibly should I change the cast???
