I'm fortunate to live in an area that has so many iconic scenes and sights. This can be a tough shot, there's a chain link fence you must shoot over or through. It's also on a freeway off ramp, so ...not ideal. Did have a request by the state patrol to move, but luckily it was a very quiet evening. I do look for great nights expected to provide fantastic sundowns and this one turned out to be a great one.Time
Evening, sat through the sunset into the night at various spots.Lighting
I generally shoot with different shutter speeds measuring the best ways to catch the light. I believe this was around a half second at 50 iso, some movement and softer water but not so much to loose sharpness of the skies.Equipment
Almost always on a tripod, this was an instance when I need to rest the camera on top of a fence and used a trigger to shoot since the camera was over my head.Inspiration
Great composition always from this point, and had great sundown conditions.Editing
Yes, colors to an extend and dodging and burning to highlight areas. In my camera bag
Canon 5D Mark IV I have many lenses but most shots are using my Canon 24-70Feedback
Yeah, don't get mugged in SF :) and take a friend or two to shoot with.
