Got many sunrise shots at this location but not from this prospective, a stunning image with good composition.

Location
This photograph was taken with a DJI Mavic drone out over the River Humber looking back into the city of Kingston Upon Hull in the UK.Time
The photo itself was taken just after 5am one Sunday morning. I had planned on this morning to be up and out with the camera and drone, the intention originally was just to grab shots of the waterside, and the weather forecast and shown that the start of the day looked like it would be great. Upon arrival and as the sun got into the sky I began to realise that actually, the shot that I need to get was from the air. Keeping all legal requirements in mind, checking the local weather, wind, local air traffic all as quickly as I could I took to the air. It was just one of those shots that I had undertaken no planning to achieve, just happened to be in the right place, at the right time, with the right equipment.Lighting
I know that discussion about lighting are an important part of what we all consider when taking shots but, on this particular shot I can not confess to having taken any of that into consideration. This really was just one of those times where everything came together perfectly and I had the absolute pleasure of being in the right place, at the right time. Sometimes it happens and whilst I keep my eyes peeled for those time I continue to consider everything when planning including lighting.Equipment
The kit bag was full that day, literally full! Although I had planned to get shots across the water, looking out onto the river the primary focus for the day had been my Canon RP, my tripod and ND filters. In fact, all this equipment was still up and out facing the water at the time of this shot. However, having seen how the light was progressing I took the opportunity to get the DJI Mavis 2 into the air. No filters just up and away, I really couldn't have asked for a better shot.Inspiration
A very short answer here; the moment! This wasn't the shot I had planned or even positioned myself to take, It really was just one of those moments in time that come where everything just seemed, well perfect. For me, this was the perfect example of why I carry everything I can with me in my kit bag because you just don't know when the plan needs to go out the window and. you seize the moment.Editing
Post processing - it's something that I try and not get too involved with. For me personally I like to share the view of what I see at the point the shutter closes. That's not to say that a little PP can't help and this is one of those examples, unfortunately manual camera control isn't as versatile on the DJI Mavic as it is on the Canon and for that reason there was a small amount of exposure adjustment on this shot utilising only Lightroom. In my camera bag
Everything I can get, the kit bag comes out with me everywhere and, I mean everywhere. A trip to the supermarket, its in the boot a family day out, it's in the boot. It's now a running gag with my family they know that whilst we might have plans they need to add time to a trip because I am going to have some of the kit out. My manfrotto back pack homes: my Canon RP, my tripon, all batteries and SD cards. It homes my newest FPV drone and associated items. In there, there is usually all the adapters to allow me to connect to an ipad and get images of the devices and again all associated cables, sockets, plugs you name it!Feedback
My advice, whilst planning is an important part of getting that perfect shot don't walk around with your eyes shut. Take pictures of everything, capture the moment and as mobile phone technology continues to improve don't assume that you have to get the DSLR out to get a great shot.
