You used a low shutter to achieve the silky water , yet the Heron is nice and sharp, well done!

It was around 6 a.m.Lighting
It was still a bit cloudy.Equipment
Nikon D7100, Nikon AF-S Nikkor 200-500 mm lens, and a tripod.Inspiration
I pass by this spot often and notice many birds, but I don't normally have the time to stop and take a photograph. So, one morning, I decided to specifically come to this spot with that intent. I was observing this bird as it feel around when suddenly, I noticed it perch on a rock in the river. Not having all my equipment with me, I had to return to the car to retrieve my tripod. I wanted to use a slower shutter speed to capture the movement of the water.Editing

Always carry your camera with you because you never know when inspiration might strike. If you have a specific shooting location in mind, try to leave earlier in the morning before crowds. Good luck.
