The lakes of Fusine, although very close to each other, are very different. The upper lake is much larger, it seems to enter a huge amphitheater. In winter the whole rocky part is covered with a thick layer of snow which forms these very beautiful spheres to see. The mountain opposite is the imposing Mangart which divides Italy from Slovenia.
