Location
I took this shot at the Nijrees-forest in Almelo. It's basicly my backyard as I've build my house at the edge of the forest. Besides spending time at photography it's also a great place to go out for a run.Time
Taking photographs I enjoy the most in the early morning or the late afternoon. That also depends somewhat on the seasons. It was a summer evening when I captured this pathway. Not long before the sun would set.Lighting
I was in the forest for some time that day. I made some shots I was happy with but I liked to spend more time. But the sun was setting so I had to return homewards. When I Ieft the forest I noticed that the sunlight changed from above to the side of the trees and some parts of the forest where illuminated beautifuly.Equipment
This was shot on a Nikon D3200 with a nikkor 18-55 lensInspiration
Whenever I leave a place I always turn backwards before I go and make a final shot of the road I'm at. Please don't ask me why, I just do.Editing
I've spend a few minutes with Photoshop on this one to make the greens stand out a bit more.In my camera bag
I always carry my Nikon D3200 body and a 15-55mm and 55-300mm lensFeedback
Never leave a place without taking that final shot of the road you're on before jumping into your car..
