it was about half an hour before sunrise when I set my tripod at the shore of the bavarian Sylvensteinspeicher for fixing the morning mood in a picture. Of course I realized the dense fog while walking to this spot, so I couldn't expect a spectacular sunrise. But what the hell! Fog is meant to clear up. For that moment I had to wait for two hours...

By the way: the title of the picture is the beginning of the poem "Glückliche Fahrt" (prosperous voyage) by the german writer Johann Wolfgang von Goethe
