The Painkiller

....1928 Model A Ford..... So I was out driving one day on the way to the store ....and along side me was this really cool hot rod driving along...not the one you see here ....but, i didnt have time to ask for a picture ....being in a hurry and all ....kicked myself the rest of the week ....anyways, next week rolls along, im out driving and i see that same car parked on a hill... I pulled over ...went up and honked my horn ...a man came out and i talked to him about getting some shots ...he asked me what in the hell for???? ....Well, i asked if he ever saw any pictures of a car that he liked???? So he seemed ok with that....so I was snapping a few shots and we got to talking ....I was about to leave and he said he has another car in the garage....hmmm, I was kinda burned out by now, but hell, why not. Well, this is that car! He called this his lifesaver. Apparently he had had a heart attack and they opened up his chest ....i could well see that as his shirt was opened the whole time ...anyways, he said the the pain afterwards was horrific and they had given him painkillers ....it wasnt enough so he drank whiskey to multiply the effect ....he couldnt stand being bedridden so he would literally crawl from his house to this garage ....about 200 ft id say .... Welded chopped and modified the car pictured ...threw in a 350 V8 he had laying around, dual carbuerators, and called it good! He doesnt wanna bother with painting and polishing ...Its a "RatRod" theyre supposed to look like this ....he just drives it like it is ....and when he blows an engine...he just throws another one in.....
